But, as not all people are aware about the types of nanny services offered by the agency they get confused on the question of live in nanny or live out nanny. Because for a layman, nanny means a person appointed to look after the safety and various needs of their child, while they are out of home.

Well, they are true, but as they are unaware about the concept of live in nannies or live out nannies, they are not able to decide what type of nanny they require for their family. Therefore, going through, the concern of such parents, let us endeavor to understand the basic difference both these nannies.

Live in Nanny: A live in nanny can be considered as the third hand of the family, who is there to look after the infant or a toddler throughout the day, even when his parents are at home. These nannies live with the family in the same home and therefore, allowed to enjoy all those facilities that are consumed by the other members of the family.

Here, it would be important to mention that it is imperative for the parents hiring services of a live in nanny to make full arrangements for her living, as they have been using for their personal use. This includes separate room, television and even separate kitchen facility, if she prefers to cook her food separately. In short, it can be said that a nanny living with you in the same house should enjoy the same respect as other members of the family and should not be insulted in front of the child.

Finally the last but not the least, as the nanny lives in the same house for 24x7, her salary is more than live out nanny.

Live out nanny: A live out nanny is one who takes care of your child during the specific hours of the day, according to your requirements and leaves the home once you are back. During your absence, she will be looking after the varied needs of your child, including his feeding, changing clothes, and even helping him in finishing his home task, if your kid goes to the school.

As she do not lives with your family, she is liable for using only those facilities that are consumed by a layman when he visits the home of his known ones, as a guest.
